Artemia System

Breeding your own artemia provides a constant supply of live food for all aquarium animals. When breeding, they are an ideal food for young fish and are welcomed by all aquarium fish as an additional source of food. Artemia – also known as sea monkeys or brine shrimps – are small crustaceans that live in salt lakes (salines). The eggs of these small crustaceans already hatch after 24 to 36 hours and can be used as a highly productive, nutritious and healthy live food that is rich in vitamins for fresh and marine water fish. The HOBBY artemia breeding system – from artemia eggs and incubator through to the special artemia breeding food – makes successful breeding of your own artemia very easy.
